Battle

In reading this term we had to read this book called battle and answer the questions I only just started so I still have quite a bit of work to if there's any mistakes please tell me and I will fix it.

Measerments

For maths this term we are learning about measurements so I did this slide to discuss the perimeter and area of some shapes if I got anything wrong or could do something better please comment below and I will reply.

I see I hear I taste

Every day in literacy my teacher puts up a photo and we have to put ourselves in that situation and describe what you see what you hear and what you taste so I put a cluster of  the ones I've done this term, I will constantly ad more so come back every once in a while to see more.

My goal ladder

For Term 4 we set two goals for ourselves one is for your learning like to work independently for reading, and the other for certificates and stuff so I hope you like this

Geometrocity

In Mrs. Woodhams maths group we have been learning geometry and one of our tasks are building a city with geometry it is meant to be about Christchurch and what we can do with the empty space this is still a work in progress so if there's anything I can change or do please comment and I will yous it thankyou.

In term 2 and 3 we have been doing our Pepeha which tells other people your background and who you are it has been hard finding all my information because my parents don't have a clue what a Pepeha is, this is still a work in progress if there are any mistakes please comment I would love to know thankyou.

The origin of KFC

This week for Homebase houra we had to do a slide called the origin of food were we had to pick food and do facts about it I chose KFC to beware this is still a work in progress so if there are any more facts you can tell me please comment and I will use it thankyou.

Seven sisters of Matariki

For SOL (student organized learning) we had to do a DLO (digital learning object) on Matariki, so I chose to do a slide show because slides are the most convenient and easiest way to present your work. There were three questions; one was asking you to explain what Matariki was, then we had to come up with two questions that we wondered about Matariki. Beware this is still a work in progress and please comment on what you liked about this and what I can work on.

Information report

For the past week, I have been doing an information report on mongoose this is just my draft so it's still work in progress but if there's anything I can change or work on please leave a comment. Tell me what you learned about mongoose.

Speech

last year term 3 we did speeches and this was mine about how rugby being better than soccer and it is my opinion.

Tom Gates report

Our teacher set us a task to do on canvas and we had to write about the author of the book most of us had Tom Gates books which were a lot of fun to read and I could not get enough of reading it.

Living springs camp reflection

Highlights:  My favorite part of camp was the bouldering walls, we took a short walk up the hill for the first activity which was bouldering walls, I had no idea of what bouldering was but our instructor told us what it was it was kind of like climbing but we had no harness. We were inside a building that had tall orange walls and some grips attached to it so we can hold on, near the end we played a couple of games, the first game was called shark attack it when there is to sharks which were Mr. Sutherland and Simon who was one of the other parents, all the kids were fish and we were circling around on the ground until the instructor said shark attack and we all had to run to the wall and hold on to the wall and if we touched the ground the sharks would get us.


dislikes:   My least favorite part was the big walk to the farm and then up the hill, on the first day of camp our teachers said we would meet up with a couple of camp instructors and then take a walk to the farm, but then our teachers didn't tell our bus driver so he took us straight to the farm, so our teachers asked him to take us back about twenty minutes so he did and everyone was moaning and groaning. when we got there everyone was still groaning, I asked the instructor Joseph "How long will this walk be"? I questioned almost wanting him to think it was a rhetorical question "about three kilometers to the farm" he remarked "oh no" I chatted in disappointment.

Likes:  I enjoyed when Mr. Bell took us for a run in the morning it was me, Liam, Riley, Ollie, Jack, and Mr. Bell we were running on the up the hill and running down the hill which really hurt my knees, we were halfway into the run and then we decided to take our shirts off, we ran through the forest trying to dodge the stinging nettle it was a hard run but it was fun and worth it.

Challenges:  The biggest challenge for me was for me to leave camp, I had a blast of a time at camp all the activities were amazing and the food was brilliant especially the burgers and when I had to leave I was devastated also knowing I would have to do that useless walk again.
