Hey Max, wow, what a powerful piece of writing. It's quite hard to imagine going through something so scary, not knowing what was going to happen next. I can tell you have done a lot of research about what it was like for the soldiers at war, well done. Don't forget to proofread and fix up spelling mistakes underlined.
